The Laser Interceptor has been tested by GOL (Guys of Lidar) as well as many independent testing groups and has proven itself to be the best laser parking system available today anywhere in the world. Laser Interceptor is a multipurpose laser sensor device with several features. The Laser Interceptor's main feature being a parking sensor designed to assist the driver when parking a vehicle and help him avoid unpleasant and costly close contacts. There are other future plans to be able to use the LI as a remote control for things such as garage doors. When this feature becomes available, we'll let you know.

The Laser Interceptor also complies to ACMA regulations by "not causing interference to another radiocommunications device". If it detects another device operating on the same frequency, it will turn itself off. Please be mindful that when turned off, it will not alert you to a potential collision with an object as you park.

For all that it's using both visual and audible warnings (beeps and real human voice).

The Laser Interceptor is based on an advanced quad receiver and dual LASER transmitter technology using Military Standards. The power of the Laser Interceptor is over 100 times greater than other units on the market that use LED diodes. The quad receiver combined with it's unique optical amplifiers ensures the highest possible performance.

The Laser Interceptor CPU box is equipped with 4 ports so it can be equipped with up to 4 sensors. The standard Laser Interceptor DUAL package has 2 and the Laser Interceptor QUAD has 4 outer sensors (heads).

The CPU box is also equipped with RS232C serial port for communication with Windows PC FOR FREE USER DOWNLOADABLE UPGRADES. Using provided software user can ALSO set up various options in the device settings.

VERY IMPORTANT:

There are some people that are downloading software from the Internet to re-program the LI to work as a police laser jammer, or Poliscan speed camera jammer. Operating your LI in this manor would most likely be illegal and thus is strongly discouraged.

The Guys of LIDAR are a group of enthusiasts in the United States committed to serving the motoring public and consumers by providing honest, accurate, and impartial performance testing of radar detectors and laser jammers. The Guys of Lidar do this out of personal interest; there tests are not managed, controlled, or influenced by anyone in the radar detector or laser jammer industry.

With this said, the Guys of Lidar have (twice) tested a Laser Interceptor unit that was programmed to work as a laser jammer. Whilst we do not condone the use of laser jammers where illegal, the results to their tests are shown below:
